The present report is a provisional working preliminary working list of native freshwater fishes of Peninsular Malaysia book of the primary freshwater fishes known thus far fronv Peninsular Malaysia (including Singapore).

The list has been compiled primarily to aid ichthyologists, ecologists and fisheries officers in the country, and to serve as a working document to ongoing studies. The list has been compiled from existing literature, and tries to be as up to date with.
